Homer Alaska Launches New Website

The City of Homer is pleased to provide our residents and visitors a new website designed to provide easier access to information and new ways to stay informed about topics of interest.

In partnership with Aha Consulting, a leading provider of open source city websites, the City of Homer will be able to build upon our goal of providing more open communications with its citizens, increasing transparency, and enabling easy online access to city services. The new website will make it easier for residents, visitors, and business owners to find the information they need online.

Our new city website offers a visually pleasing design that showcases the unique beauty and character of Homer. Citizens can search the website by keyword, subscribe to email notifications, track current city job openings, view the city calendar and upcoming events, and much more.

The site will continue to be a work in progress over the next several months as additional content is added and organized. and future capabilities including online submittable forms, rss feeds, etc. are put into place.
